In 2004, a group of retired teachers came together to create an online study program. The purpose of the study program was to allow students who were struggling academically to find the after school help they needed at a price that was less expensive than a private tutor or learning center.
The online study program was based on the premise that one-on-one help did not have to be expensive. It just had to be effective and easy to use. The teachers went even further to create a short list of other important factors. Those factors stressed the importance of those students using the program had to feel comfortable to use the program in the environment of their choice and could study at their own pace. If the program offered helpful study tips, plans for staying organized while motivating and encouraging students to do their very best, then the program would be complete.
The creators of this site have taken great care to create a program that breaks through the barriers of confusion and frustration and gets to the heart of learning.
